A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on South Europe: that the Hermann Goering Division is to withdraw its left wing, on October 30; of German Air Force (GAF) measures against further Allied air attacks on Genoa, on October 31; that vessels in the Adriatic are to keep clear of the Split area, and E-boats are to be transferred from France to Venice, on October 28-30; that GAF seaplanes are to supply Split; the Commander in Chief (C-in-C) South's situation report, for October 28, including that a parachute regiment is to be sent by air to the C-in-C for the Southeast Mediterranean; and a general situation report on South and Southeast Europe issued in Berlin, on October 29; on South-east Europe: of no damage being caused in an Allied raid on Heraklion, on October 30; on the Southern Russian Front: a GAF summary of the air reconnaissance results for October 30; and that 4 GAF groups were transferred from the 6th Air Fleet to the 4th Air Fleet because of hard defensive fighting, on October 28.
