Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on South Italy: the 14th Panzer Corps report a withdrawal by the 15th Panzer Division, on October 29; on the 76th Corps' air liaison landing ground, on October 29; a report on the 16th Panzer Division, for the night of October 28-29, noting an attack was repulsed; of the German Air Force (GAF) undertaking reconnaissance for the 1st Parachute Division, but no bombing, on October 29; on the 2nd Parachute Division's air liaison landing ground, on October 29; and a 76th Panzer Corps report, for October 29.
