A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on South Europe: the Commander in Chief (C-in-C) South's situation report for October 21; that the C-in-C South was not satisfied with the demolition at Gaeta, and preparations for demolition are to be made at Terracina, on October 22; that the C-in-C South calls for more air defence artillery, especially for the east coast, on October 19; and that the Germans lay claim to Italian motor and lorry production, on October 22.
