Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following messages: a reply to the Prime Minister's (PM's) query about the whereabouts of the Italian government; from the British ambassador in Lisbon, a request for guidance on an approach by 2 Italians on behalf of their government; a telegram to the Special Communications Unit at La Marsa, from C for Strong, on September 15; and a reply to C from Strong at Algiers, on September 15 (which is being checked with London).
