Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: from Brigadier Hollis for the Prime Minister (PM); on South-east Europe: of the transfer of the 2nd Panzer Army from the Russian Front to the Balkans, on August 24; that the Commander in Chief (C-in-C) for the Southeast has transferred to Army Group F and takes over Army Group E, on August 26; that the Italian 2nd Army is to evacuate garrisons in the Italian 18th Army Corps' area followed by their replacement by Germans and Croatians, on August 20; on West Europe: of Allied air raids on northern France, on August 27; and on Northern Europe: that the German Air Force (GAF) Air Officer North (West) is interested in a new rocket bomb used in U.K. attacks on shipping, on August 26.
