Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: a BONIFACE summary from Brigadier Hollis for the Prime Minister (PM); on South Europe: the German Air Force (GAF) report Sibari railway station will be closed for 3-4 weeks, from August 21; that German nurses are to be evacuated from Sardinia, on August 21; of reinforcements and supplies for the SS Brigade Reichfuehrer, in Corsica, on August 21; from a German senior officer in Milan on bomb damage and local morale, on August 22; and that the Panzer Grenadier Hermann Goering Division is being moved back, on August 21; on South-east Europe: a German report on the morale of Italian forces in Yugoslavia, on August 17; that the GAF are seeking seaplane bases on the coasts of Albania and Dalmatia, on August 19; and of German reinforcements to Skarpanto, on August 22.
