A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: a BONIFACE summary from Brigadier Hollis for the Prime Minister (PM); and a SUNSET intelligence report; on South Europe: a German situation report on Sicily, for August 16; of the German Army in Sicily dismantling batteries and withdrawing, on August 16; that the Senior Transport Officer for the Straits of Messina is expected to leave with the landing craft, on August 17; that an air defence artillery train was destroyed in a raid on Sibari station, on August 15; of the raid on Sibari station, on August 15; that probably the 76th Panzer Division is on the move, on August 16; of a German division moving from August 14; and of Allied air attacks on the Messina Straits, on August 15; and on Germany: the German Air Force (GAF) report an Allied air raid, on August 14.
