A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: BONIFACE reports from Brigadier Hollis; on Southern Europe: that the are Germans evacuating Catania, on August 4; of damage caused to a harbour following an Allied attack on Naples on August 4; and that 15 Allied landing craft are on shore near Cape Spartivento, on August 4.
