Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on South-east Europe: that the Commander in Chief (CinC) for the South East requests the immediate reinforcement of the Peloponnese because of the strained situation there, on July 31; a German Air Force (GAF) Command for the South East evening report for July 30, noting air attacks on two Italian ships in the Aegean; and from the Italian minister in Sofia, describing a meeting with Filoff discussing the Italian situation, on July 28.
