Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on Southern Europe: of the 2nd Air Corps' operational orders for July 28, and that their intentions for July 28-29 include operations against Sicilian airfields (weather permitting) and widespread reconnaissances; on the use of Trialen bombs against Allied shipping shelling the coast; and the 14th Panzer Corps' supply return for July 25, noting its fuel is adequate, and ammunition shortages, some acute.
