This file includes the following reports on Southern Europe: two situation reports for Sicily on July 24 and 25; of damage caused by an air raid on Foggia, on July 24; that tanks for the Hermann Goering Division are en route from Germany, on July 23; that the naval authorities in Taranto were instructed to assist in safeguarding public order, on July 25; and that an Allied landing is appreciated as apparently only agents are being put ashore; on South-east Europe: a situation report for July 25; and a situation report for July 23 on the Russian and Sicilian fronts.
