A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on Southern Europe: a situation report on the front line in Sicily, for July 21; a day report for July 19 on ground operations in Sicily; a German intelligence report of July 17 on Allied intentions in Sicily; and that the German Air Force (GAF) claims 37000 tons of Allied shipping were damaged during the night of July 18 off Augusta.
