This file includes the following reports on Southern Europe: on reinforcements of the Straits of Messina, on July 18; of the Allied naval bombardment of Crotone, on July 21; that an investigation of dropping points in north-east Sicily was ordered, on July 18; on the state of runways in Sicily and southern Italy, on July 19; and CX/MSS/2932/T28 (see 3953).
