Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on Southern Europe: of flak reinforcements for Messina, on July 17; on demolition measures at Gerbini airfield, on July 17; the German Air Force (GAF) reports that 300 Allied aircraft are causing heavy damage to the industrial quarter of Naples, on July 17; and that the damage to Elmas airfield in Sardinia is serious, on July 18; and on Holland and Germany: of Allied air activity for July 17 and 18.
