A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on South Europe: of Kesselring's order of the day to German soldiers on Sicily, on July 15; of the Goering Division's casualties, for July 10-14; of the Goering Division's tanks on July 10; and of the ammunition en route to Sicily, on July 16; on South-east Europe: the Commander in Chief (C-in-C) for the Southeast's report for July 15; and of a mutiny in the German Fortress Battalion in Greece, on July 15; Naval Headlines; and from the Japanese ambassador in Berlin, on the fighting in Sicily, on July 13.
