This file includes the following reports on South Europe: that the Hermann Goering Division is unable to attack at present, on July 14; a German Air Force (GAF) report on the front line in east Sicily, on July 15; of the Hermann Goering Division's defence line, on July 15; of paratroop reinforcement to the Axis left wing near Catania, on July 15; that Axis reserves are required for the southern edge of Catania, on July 15; and of Allied warships being observed off Catania, on July 16; on the Mediterranean: the GAF report Allied vessels to be at Bizerta, on July 16; and of Axis ships being sunk by a submarine in the Gulf of Salonika, on July 12.
