A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on South Europe: that the 76th Panzer Corps assumes responsibility for German formations being set up on mainland Italy, on July 14; that the 14th Panzer Corps is to be responsible for the supplies for German Army units in Sicily, on July 15; that the 29th Panzer Grenadier Division is to prevent enemy landings in Calabria, on July 14; that the anti-aircraft defence at Ramacca was evacuated after destroying its guns and equipment, on July 15; of the 2nd Air Fleet's intentions for July 16; that the German Panzer divisions are to hold their present positions, on July 15; that air defence batteries are to defend to the last man, on July 15; and that Trapani harbour was blown up; and the German Air Force (GAF) station at Milo was evacuated, on July 15.
