Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on South Europe: of the German naval situation in Empedocle, on July 11; the German Air Force (GAF) report the destruction of Sciacca airfield in an Allied raid, on July 11; and that the 2nd Air Fleet is to set up operational flying detachments for special bombing tasks, on July 9; and on South-east Europe: of the GAF's build-up in Greece to counter Allied landings, on July 10.
