Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following messages: from the Greek ambassador in Washington, on Turkish neutrality and claims to the Dodecanese, on July 5; from the Portuguese minister in Bucharest, on a visit of the Roumanian Vice-President to Mussolini, on July 9; from the Brazilian ambassador in Madrid, on the internal political situation, as of July 8; and from Ribbentrop to all posts: a new policy on the reporting of Allied bombing raids on Germany, with a stress on the unshakeable will of the German people and the destruction of monuments to culture, on July 4, seen by His Majesty the King on July 15.
