Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on South Europe: of the Axis front line in Sicily, on July 11; by German Air Force (GAF) unit SKG10, on the provision of vehicles, on July 11; of the German ground situation on Sicily, on July 10; of an Axis steamship being sunk on the passage to Sardinia, on July 11; and that the GAF lost 13 aircraft during a raid on Bizerta, on July 8; and on the Southern Russian Front: of GAF operations on July 10. This file also includes a message that an investigation was ordered by the Prime Minister (PM) of signals intelligence quoted by General Giraud at a press conference, on July 11 and 13.
