A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on South Europe: that the German Air Force (GAF) sighted a fleet of 150-200 vessels, on July 9; that the GAF sighted 60 landing craft north of Gozo, on July 9; and on GAF contingency arrangements in the event of an effort against Sardinia, on July 9; and on Germany: of the inadequacies of air defence reporting on RAF Mosquito incursions, from June 28.
