A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on South Europe: that the degrees of readiness at Trapani and Palermo were cancelled, on July 8; and a strength return of a German Air Force (GAF) in Sardinia ground attack unit, for July 8; and on South-east Europe: that the GAF are to train the Roumanians on air defence equipment, from July 7.
