Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on Southern Europe: of the resurgence of the 15th Panzer Division, on June 30; that German Air Force (GAF) reconnaissance of Malta and Gozo establishes the presence of numerous Allied naval units, on July 2; of an Axis supply vessel being torpedoed, on July 4; that Milis airfield in Sardinia was completely wrecked after Allied air raids on July 3; another account, showing less damage of the attacks on Milis airfield, on July 3; of Allied air attacks on Sardinia and Sicily, on July 2 and 3; the Prime Minister (PM) queries with the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS) whether Tedder and the U.S. realize the results of the Allied air attacks; and CAS's reply, on July 8.
