A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: ZIP/JMA/2038 (see 3747); on Southern Europe: on the performance figures of the Messina Straits ferry to and from Sicily between June 1 and 25, on July 3; on South-east Europe: that the Mostar airfield, in Yugoslavia, was proposed as the location for 1200 parachute troops, on June 29; and that German Air Force (GAF) Command for the South-east is in agreement with the occupation of Kraljevo by a parachute training battalion and school, on July 4; and on the Russian Front: a ground situation report, for July 4.
