A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on Southern Europe: that goods destined for Italy and inscribed occupied territory are considered by the quartermaster (QM) department as open to embarrassing misconstruction, on June 30; and that the 3rd Panzer Grenadier Division is to arrive at Chiusi on July 2; Naval Headlines; naval sigint on the drafting of naval personnel from other services into the U-boat force, on June 30; and from the German consul in Izmir, on the expectation of an Allied attack on the Dodecanese, on June 23.
