A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on Southern Europe: of an intended Allied attack on Piacenza airfield, and that 1800 personnel are to be evacuated, on June 28; and of damage caused to naval vessels as a result of a raid on Leghorn, on June 28; on South-east Europe: on the acute situation in Greece owing to sabotage, strikes and the general outcry against occupation, on June 26; and that an army rations depot is to supply the 18th Jaeger Division operating in Yugoslavia, from June 17.
