A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on Southern Europe: that Mussolini orders immediate preparations to be made for the destruction of Trapani and Marsala harbours, on June 26; of indications that the 14th Panzer Corps is no longer in control of army formations on Sicily, Sardinia and Corsica, on June 26; and that German Air Force (GAF) ground personnel are to transfer from Russia to Italy, on June 25; and on South-east Europe: of an ambush of a German column by Greek partisans, on June 26.
