Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on the Mediterranean/Southern Europe: that the Commander in Chief (C-in-C) South is unable to obtain an increased tank allocation to form a reserve because of the general shortage of tanks, on June 18; of an Allied air attack against Reggio-Calabria, on June 19; and that German Air Force (GAF) fighter aircraft are to be modified to be used if required as fighter-bombers, on June 19.
