A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on Southern Europe: that German Air Force (GAF) reconnaissance aircraft sighted considerable shipping in and off Pantelleria, on June 13; of a mention of Special Unit 287 in connection with Sardinia, on June 2; two reports on damage resulting from an Allied air raid on Castel Vetrano, on June 12 and 13; and an Italian report that an Allied submarine is shelling one of the Lipari islands, on June 13; on the Russian Front: a ground situation summary as of June 13; and on South-east Europe: of GAF operations in Croatia on June 12.
