A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on Southern Europe: on the results of a preliminary German survey of sites for ammunition and ration dumps in Corsica, on June 11; that the German armed forces in Sicily recommend Division Sicily to employ battalions in specified areas, on June 11; and on the proposals for the reinforcement of Sicily, involving the bringing over of the Hermann Goering Division, on June 10.
