This file includes the following reports on Southern Europe: that the German naval authorities in Italy are to ensure the scuttling of German ships in the event of threatened capture or surrender at a base, on June 5; and that non-commissioned officers of aircraft reporting service with knowledge of Spanish are being sought by German Air Force (GAF) Signals units, on June 4.
