Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on Southern Europe: that the German naval authorities in Italy are to ensure the scuttling of German ships in the event of threatened capture or surrender at a base, on June 5; and that non-commissioned officers of aircraft reporting service with knowledge of Spanish are being sought by German Air Force (GAF) Signals units, on June 4.
