Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: SHARK, that U-boat cipher keys were broken in May; on the Mediterranean: that an ex-French destroyer is to be towed from Toulon to Genoa, on June 2; that elements of the Hermann Goering Division are leaving Berlin for Italy, on June 3; of an Allied raid on Grottaglie airfield, on June 4; of an Allied air raid on (possibly Grottaglie), on June 4; and 2675/T24 was sent to the Assistant Chief of Air Staff Intelligence (ACASI) (see 3457).
