A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: an ULTRA/BONIFACE report for Air Commodore Spencer, an alias for the Prime Minister (PM); on the Mediterranean: that the German Air Force (GAF) Officer Commanding (OC) Fighters in Sicily requires 6-hourly reports from Pantelleria, on June 2; of damage dealt to Pantelleria in Allied raids, on June 2; that an Axis convoy was attacked by Allied naval forces, on June 2; of the 16th Panzer Division at Leghorn being reminded of Hitler's order that no guns were to fall into Allied hands, on June 2; a SUNSET intelligence summary to Washington, for June 2; on the Southern Russian Front: of a Soviet break-through in Kuban, on June 1; from the Japanese ambassador in Kuibyshev, that the Soviets are not to grant bases to the U.S., from May 21; and from the Portuguese minister in Bucharest, describing the Roumanian minister's pessimism about the war, as of May 31.
