Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: an ULTRA/Boniface report for Air Commodore Spencer, an alias for the Prime Minister (PM); on the Mediterranean: of an Allied raid on Pomigliano, on May 30; the German Air Force (GAF) report a raid on Foggia airfield, on May 31; that Kesselring orders all GAF fighters in Italy to cooperate in air defence, on May 31; that bomber units in the eastern Mediterranean are to be reinforced with crews from the Russian Front instead of from the central Mediterranean, on May 31; and that the GAF are to conduct operations against North African harbours, on the nights of June 1-2 and 2-3; a SUNSET summary for Washington, on May 31; and on the Southern Russian Front: that the GAF are supporting defensive operations in Kuban, on May 29.
