Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file contains a message from Brigadier LRC Hollis for the Prime Minister (PM); a BONIFACE summary; and the following reports on the Mediterranean: of four Axis destroyers heading to Sardinia with 1200 troops, on May 21; on troops heading to Sardinia, on May 21; of defensive measures to be taken against gliders in Sicily and Sardinia, on May 21; that German Air Force (GAF) stations in Sicily and Sardinia are to be developed into strong points, on May 21; a GAF unit reports on successes and losses, on May 21; that Admiral Duquesne decides not to scuttle his fleet, on May 22; and a message from the Turkish military attaché in Kuibyshev, on the Russian campaign, on May 19.
