A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on the Mediterranean: that Army Group Africa urgently requests air transport for about 400 specialists at Menzel Temime, on May 11; that the German naval authorities in Tunis do not expect an evacuation in light of the Allied blockade, on May 11; that an Allied air raid on Marsala caused heavy damage on the town and harbour, on May 11; an assessment of the damage caused in the Allied air raid, on May 11; that a supply drop over Tunisia is planned for the night of May 11-12; and of Kesselring being informed that a Battalion for Comiso is en route from Rome to Naples, on May 11.
