This file includes the following messages: from the Japanese minister in Rome, describing an interview with Mussolini out-lining Japanese aims and Italian views, on May 4; from the Greek ambassador in London, giving the views of Bogomolov on the Russian-Polish dispute, on May 6; from the Chinese chargé in Berne, detailing Russian interests, on May 4; that Berlin requests a report from the Embassy in Tokyo on a projected Japanese offensive against India, on May 5; the Japanese minister in Sofia speculates on the location of an Allied Second Front, on May 3; and Admiral Robert is ordered by Laval to scuttle French ships, destroy aircraft and sink gold in Martinique, on May 10.
