Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on Mediterranean: of information on personnel with small boat experience in civilian life, being required from Sicily, on May 6; of a U-boat en route to Kelibia being ordered to return to Italy, on May 9; and the German Naval Transport Office at Cape Bon reported that the front line was still in the Enfidaville position, as of May 9; and on Western Europe: on the 9th Air Corps' orders for the conservation of fuel in an extremely critical situation, on May 9.
