Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on the Mediterranean: German Naval Command reports the supply ships Campo Basso and Perseo to be missing, on May 4; that it is unable to guarantee the supply of ammunition, rations and water to Army Group Africa, on May 3; and of the orders to the German Air Force (GAF) for defence against Allied Naval forces approaching the Sicilian Channel, on May 3-4.
