A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on the Mediterranean: a further report on the Allied bombing raid on Grosseto, on April 26; Naval Headlines; from the Turkish military attaché in Madrid, that the Allies will be unable to invade Europe this year and the Germans will remain on the defensive on the Russian Front, on April 24; and from the Turkish military attaché in Budapest, relating local speculation on the German use of poison gas, on April 26.
