Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: a report on the construction of embarkation facilities on the Tunisian coast at Kelibia and Sidi Daoud, on April 27; on the Russian Front: that considerable German Air Force (GAF) elements are to be transferred from southern Russia to the Ukraine, on April 26; Naval Headlines; and from the Japanese minister in Madrid, a report of talks with the Spanish Foreign Minister on April 21, covering a possible U.S. threat to the Balearics; Spanish moves to broker a peace agreement between the Axis and the Allies; diplomatic relations between Spain and Mexico; and Spanish hopes for the Axis to hold on to Tunisia and also to destroy the Soviet Union.
