A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: that the Tunis Air Corps requests temporary fighter reinforcements on April 25 to counter an expected major Allied attack on April 26, with 30 aircraft required to disperse for one day to 6 Tunisian airfields, and with the Allies being expected to attack sectors of the 10th Panzer Division and the Africa Corps; and that all serviceable German Air Force (GAF) aircraft in Sardinia are to carry out torpedo attacks against Allied naval forces in the Straits of Sicily overnight on April 25/26; and on the Russian Front: of the GAF's reconnaissance results for April 24.
