A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: that the German Air Force's (GAF's) transport and bombing operations are to be limited to the hours of darkness from April 25; that the rescue services must improve their performance, with their direction-finding results to date having been inadequate; and that the Italians sighted an Allied amphibious group on April 24 in the Algiers area, and suspect an imminent landing on the coast east of Cape Serrat.
