Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: a German Navy summary report for April 22, that the aircraft-carrier Graf Zeppelin is en route from Kiel to Stettin, on Axis shipping losses in the Mediterranean, and detailing an RAF raid on Spezia; on North Africa: that Rommel has been in the army sanatorium at Semmering in Austria since at least April 5, and requests that an item of his luggage be picked up and flown out from Tunis, on April 5; C reports to the Prime Minister (PM) that this is the final proof that Rommel is in Austria.
