Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on the Mediterranean; a German Air Force (GAF) general report for April 16-17; and of a German battle group being located on Sicily, on April 18; Naval Headlines; from the Japanese ambassador in Ankara, relaying German information on Eden's visit to Washington, and an Anglo-U.S. demand that the Soviets declare war on Japan, on April 18; and from the Brazilian minister in Ankara, on the visit of the British Commander in Chief (C-in-C) for the Near East to Turkey, on April 15.
