A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: that the German Air Force (GAF) are to take measures to protect Ju transports from waiting Spitfires, on April 17; that a GAF fighter unit has been withdrawn and is to transfer to Sardinia re-equipped with ME109s; on the Mediterranean: a GAF situation report, for April 15-16; of Kesselring's orders on action to be taken in the event of Allied landings, on April 17; a GAF general report for April 17, describing Ju88s bombing Greek partisans; a GAF general summary of the ground situation, on April 17; and on the Southern Russian Front: that a German attack on the Novorossisk bridgehead begins, on April 17.
