Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: the German Air Force (GAF) at Tunis' evening report for April 15, detailing Allied fighter activity; of the GAF 2nd Air Fleet being dissolved, on April 15; and that GAF Tunis is to take direct control of the 2nd Air Fleet units, on April 15; on the Mediterranean: that the GAF are to make a bomber attack on Oran harbour and torpedo attacks on convoys on April 16; that 9 GAF aircraft were damaged during an Allied raid on Villacidro on the night of April 14-15; and of details of Allied raids on Sardinia on April 13 and 14; and from the Japanese ambassador in Berlin, that the Axis forces are to hold on in Tunisia, on April 13.
