Description

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: of Axis withdrawals from Kairouan, on April 10; that German Air Force (GAF) supply flights are to go to Menzel Temime, on April 10; that escorting fighters for Ju's are to land at La Sebala, on April 11; on Kesselring's instructions for fighter protection for air transport, on April 11; and a GAF general report on the ground campaigns, for April 11; and Naval Headlines, covering Atlantic U-boat activity, and Axis shipping to Tunisia.
