This file includes the following reports on North Africa: of an Allied break-through at the Akarit position, on April 6; and of the move of a German engineer battalion, on April 6; on the Southern Russian Front: of German Air Force (GAF) moves for an operation against the Novorossisk bridgehead; and from the Japanese ambassador in Kuibyshev, that Turkey is considering joining the Allies, from March 31.
