Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on the Mediterranean: that unit KG26 at Decimo, in Sardinia, is to receive HE111-11 torpedo-carrying aircraft; of the German Air Force's (GAF's) aircraft strength in April; and that roads in Sicily are to be kept clear for Axis motorised troops in case of Allied landings, on April 6; on the Southern Russian Front: that the GAF are to take stringent measures to conserve and protect aviation fuel, on April 3; on North Africa: Bizerta reports the loss of a second ship in a convoy, on April 6; an Army Group Africa supplies return, for March 30; of GAF fighter unit moves, on April 6; a GAF situation report for April 4; that the 10th Panzer Division are expecting a major attack hourly, on April 5; of the 10th Panzer Division's losses, on April 4; GAF Tunis reports, for April 5, detailing Allied air raids; on the 10th Panzer Division's tank situation, on April 5; a 21st Panzer Division tank return, for April 5; a further 21st Panzer Division tank return for April 6; that the German 164th Light Division is to withdraw, on April 6; that a German formation is to withdraw, on April 6; and of action to be taken against German troops molesting the civil population, on April 6.
